You will learn how to use correct alignment in your yoga postures, what to look for in concerns to safety in the poses and variations to share with beginner students. You will also learn how to transition correctly from pose to pose so your sequences have a sense of flow and purpose!

You will be guided through an in depth look into the human anatomy with an experienced anatomy teacher! The skills and knowledge covered in this course will become a solid platform to build confidence in your work with your body and the bodies you teach!

This yoga teacher training will explore the science and philosophy behind the origins of the traditional yoga practice in a way that is relatable to how we live in our modern era. Each session you will be exposed to a myriad of ideas and techniques on how to practice balance of body, mind and soul in the life we share today.

Throughout this training you will practice and learn numerous breathing techniques and concepts to deepen your practice on and off of the mat!

Chakras, meditation techniques, and the subtlety of being will be a cornerstone for learning throughout this training. You will learn about the differing ways to explore subtle energy and skill within the yoga practice so you may become more aware and open to the power you hold on and off of your mat!

Whether you are looking to become a yoga teacher or just deepen your personal practice you will learn the tools and techniques behind becoming a positive leader and a teacher in the world of yoga! You will also learn tips on the business side of being a yoga teacher on how to create relationships with studios and how to explore making a living teaching yoga.

You will be eligible to be certified as a Registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance or American Yoga Council upon completion of this training.

And how to apply yoga in your life appropriately. Whether it be as a certified yoga instructor leading groups or as a student wanting to deepen your understanding and practice.

While all 8 limbs of Yoga will be taught and explained during the training, the majority of our time together will be focusing on anatomy, Yoga Postures, and leading a group through a practice.

We will spend a good amount of our time developing your skills and learning what is required and what is helpful to be an effective and trusted yoga teacher/leader.
