Marma Point Facial

Marma point therapy is the Ayurvedic counterpart to acupressure in Chinese medicine. The word “Marma” means “vital energy point”.

Each Marma point correlates with specific organs, tissues and chakras system through which consciousness and prana pass. Applying pressure to these points stimulates and brings balance to the organ network therby assisting restoration and well being. Marma point therapy works to release stagnation which increases vitality in the mind and body.

These energy points promote circulation to skin tissue. This encourages glowing skin, minimizes the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and rejuvenates skin tone and vitality. It also activates the parasympathetic nervous system to calm nerves and decrease stress.
